Making a Difference
The Will J. Mayol Foundation was created to honor the life and beliefs of William (Will) J. Mayol who was passionate about the injustices of the world.
Will was born on September 10, 1989 and passed on April 9, 2017 but we like to highlight not his death, but his life.
Since a very young age, he showed signs of a unique intelligence; knowing the alphabet before he was one year old and to the surprise of his teachers (and ours!), he started reading by the time he turned three. Books became his passion from that early age and his curiosity for life never faded. In his younger years, he would dive into the trash cans of grocery stores and dig out food to take to the homeless and his activities on injustices never stopped. He loved and valued friendship a lot, had a very special sense of humor, could talk about almost any topic and had a huge heart, too good for this world.
Thanks to him, we try to be better people and one way of doing so is by serving the needy community.
